Ilkleyhood is a social forum for men new to, or already established in, the Ilkley area, which meets up informally for a drink once a month. The monthly meeting dates are shown below.
Ilkleyhood is run by four men, some of whom are fairly new to the area. We wanted to meet new people outside work – so we set up this group.
If you are new to the area, or have lived here for years, feel free to come along to the next meeting. Anyone living or working in Ilkley, Burley in Wharfedale, Addingham or anywhere else nearby is very welcome.
As well as the monthly meetings we also organise the odd trip to see some live music or comedy and there are some keen mountain bikers and runners in the group. We also organise other events, such as barbecues and curry nights.
The next event is the 'Tipple Track Trip' on Saturday 10 October. This is a daytime trip from Ilkley visiting the bars at Dewsbury and Huddersfield train stations.For more details contact us@ilkleyhood.org

Our monthly meetings are currently held on Tuesdays at 8:00pm in the Ilkley Moor Vaults pub, also known locally as 'The Taps'. The dates for 2009 are:

Our meetings are very informal, with most of us stay on till closing time.
